JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The Director of Sales position is responsible for the daily operations within the Ormond Beach Sales Department. This role provides direct oversight/management of sales or works in conjunction with other senior sales team members to maximize sales revenue and profits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maximizing sales revenue and profits for Resort Sales Florida, Inc.
- Responsible for the closing of full down and pending deals
- Imitate and execute Team building functions with the Sales staff
- Recruiting, training and motivation of Sales staff
- Motivate and train sales staff to focus on specific inventory for sales purposes
- Implementation and execution of Corporate policies and procedures as required, and implementing management decisions (hiring and firing) under the guidance of Regional Director and HR
- Participate in weekly meetings and training as required with Sales teams
- Develop and execute new initiatives that are designed to improve the overall communication, motivations and culture of the sales team
- Focus on specific inventory to benefit the Developer and the Developer’s directive
- Focus on making a team environment throughout and with all departments
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a College degree
- A minimum of 5 years’ progressive sales experience in the timeshare industry
- Strong presentation and communication skills. Structure and discipline are essential to the role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive demeanor and composure at all times
OPTIONAL SKILLS A PLUS
- Knowledge of Spinnaker Resorts and or the timeshare industry
