It's remarkable how swiftly summertime has arrived! This season is eagerly anticipated by all, marking the moment when we bid farewell to winter coats and warmly embrace shorts and flip flops. At King’s Creek, we've been diligently preparing for an exceptional summer ahead.

Williamsburg is brimming with delightful experiences during these balmy months. While Busch Gardens and Water Country USA remain perennial family favorites, there's a handful of special events to explore during the summer months. From festivals to art exhibitions, concert series, and the enchanting wineries and breweries in the vicinity, there's something to captivate every member of the family.

As always, our management and staff are eagerly anticipating the joyous moments that summer brings when our cherished owners return to King’s Creek. We eagerly await your arrival at "The Creek" for what promises to be a memorable summer.

July 4th, 2024, in Colonial Williamsburg

There's no better place to celebrate our nation's birth than on historic Duke of Gloucester Street. Enjoy a full day of patriotic festivities, including public readings of the Declaration of Independence, musical performances, and a dazzling firework display to cap the evening. Make lasting memories with family and friends as you experience the rich history and exciting celebrations in Williamsburg.

Celebrate National Farmers Market Week in Yorktown

Yorktown Market Days is honoring the local farmers who work hard to provide homegrown products each week. A crop of activities is planned to celebrate National Farmers Market Week from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. August 5th and 12th in Historic Yorktown.

Tour the Yorktown Battlefield

Discover what it took for the United States to be independent as you explore the site of the last major battle of the Revolutionary War. In the fall of 1781 at Yorktown, General George Washington, with allied American and French forces, besieged General Charles Lord Cornwallis’s British army.

Capitol Concert Series

Join Colonial Williamsburg’s Governor’s ensemble for a special evening of chamber music in the live acoustics and visual ambiance of the Hall of Burgesses. Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. through August 13th.

We are always working to improve your facilities and villas. Here is a recap of the work completed or started over the past few months.

Cottages

We have installed new roofs on eight Cottage villas to maintain the quality of your villa

Estates

Several damaged decks in the Estates villas have been replaced with composite decking to ensure your safety during your stay.
A new lifeguard station has been added to the Estate pool.
New carpets have been installed in several Estates villas to give the villas a refreshed appearance.

Townes

We've added several trash enclosures to the Townes villas to provide a clean appearance.
A 65-inch television has been added to the Townes pool for karaoke and other pool events.
The concrete floors in the Townes pool building and restrooms and pool area have been painted providing protection and a clean look.

RESORT ACTIVITIES

The King's Creek activities team is excited for the upcoming spring season and the array of new activities they've curated for you. Check out our complete list of activities here and read on for a few activity highlights.

Bingo Game

Join us for Bingo every Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., a complimentary activity for all our guests. Enjoy five exciting rounds, with a chance to win fantastic prizes in each game.

Wine Social

Our Wine Social happens every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Enjoy three delightful wine tastings paired with a delicious food plate while mingling with fellow guests.

Wine Glass Painting

Join us for Wine Glass Painting every Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This activity costs $5.00, and due to limited seating, advance sign-up is required.
