SUMMER 2023 SPINNAKER UPDATE
|
Dear King’s Creek Spinnaker Owners,
It is hard to believe but just like that…summertime is here. This is the time that everyone anxiously awaits; the time when we all forget about those winter coats and sweaters and get the shorts and flip flops out for the season. We, at King’s Creek, have been working hard this past spring gearing up for an awesome summer.
There is so much to do and see in Williamsburg during these warm months. Busch Gardens and Water Country USA are always a family favorite but don’t forget to check out all the special events happening in the area between June and August. There is something for everyone in the family between festivals, art shows, concert series and of course the wonderful wineries and breweries located close by. As always, the management and staff look forward to the good times to be had this summer when our owners “come home” to King’s Creek.
We look forward to seeing you soon at “The Creek” this summer.

This historic city, nestled in the heart of the Commonwealth, offers a unique blend of colonial charm, cultural treasures, and thrilling outdoor adventures. To ensure you make the most of your summer visit, we've compiled a list of the top five activities that will make your Williamsburg experience truly unforgettable.
1. Journey through Time at Colonial Williamsburg
Immerse yourself in the colonial era by visiting Colonial Williamsburg, a living history museum that authentically recreates life in the 18th century. As you stroll along the cobblestone streets, interact with costumed interpreters who bring history to life through captivating stories and demonstrations. Explore historic buildings, participate in hands-on activities, and learn about the struggles and triumphs of the early American settlers.

Visit the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, where the decisive battle of the American Revolution took place. Embark on a journey through time and witness the birth of a nation.
3. Unwind in Nature at the Williamsburg Botanical Garden

Spinnaker Resorts 40th Anniversary
The entire Taylor family vacationed on Hilton Head in the late 70s as resort development commenced. Hilton Head’s appeal for the family was the many activities it offered: ocean and beach activities, tennis, cycling, inline skating and golf, all in a beautifully natural environment. Spinnaker Resorts was founded shortly after these initial family visits.
Over the past 40 years Spinnaker Resorts has built or acquired properties in 4 states. Starting with just 48 units in 1983, the company has grown to over 1100 units and 560+ employees.
2023 will be a year of joy as we celebrate. The Spinnaker family has always exceeded expectations set forth by its peers and 2023 is gearing up for the same results. We look forward to the next 40 years providing and exceeding the Gold Standard of service and support for our owners and guests.
